What We Measure

The Forensic Phenotype Report analyses the visible geometry of your face by measuring soft-tissue landmarks from your submitted photographs. These measurements include:

• Facial index — the height-to-width ratio of the face.
• Nasal index — width-to-height proportions of the nose.
• Palpebral spacing — the geometry and aperture of the eyelids.
• Labial proportions — relative dimensions of the lips.
• Structural elements — cheekbone prominence, brow ridge development, and jaw contour.

These measurements are compared against documented population means drawn from craniometric and soft-tissue anthropometric literature to produce a composite morphological affinity score.

What This Is

The Forensic Phenotype Report is a comparative morphological study. It identifies which documented reference populations your facial measurements most closely resemble, based on statistical proximity across five independent trait groups.

The historical narrative portion of the report is an interpretive, creative account drawn from the cultural and geographic context of your strongest regional match. It is written to enrich the experience and should be read as historical storytelling, not genealogical fact.

What This Is Not

It is important to understand the following limitations:

• This is not a DNA test. No genetic material is analysed. Results are based solely on visible facial morphology.
• This does not determine ancestry. Morphological similarity to a reference population does not prove descent from that population.
• Results are probabilistic, not deterministic. Affinity scores express statistical likelihood, not certainty.
• Facial features are influenced by many factors including genetics, environment, age, and individual variation. Morphological comparison has inherent limitations.
• Reference populations are historical. They reflect documented anthropometric data from specific time periods and may not fully represent modern populations.

Intended Use

The Forensic Phenotype Report is designed for personal interest and educational entertainment. It offers a unique lens through which to explore the geometry of your face and its statistical resonance with historical populations around the world.

It should not be used for medical diagnosis, legal proceedings, identity verification, or any discriminatory purpose. We encourage recipients to approach their results with curiosity and appropriate context.
